As we cross the threshold into spring, nature reminds us that change begins gently. The Spring Equinox marks a moment of balance, where light and dark exist in equal measure, and with it comes the quiet invitation to begin again.

To honour this turning, to meet the lengthening days with presence, and to plant the first seeds of growth.

This day retreat is a space to do just that.

Set within the stillness of Happy River, surrounded by trees just beginning to stir with new life, we will gather to breathe, move, reflect, and reconnect. Through yoga, meditation, forest sauna, cold water immersion, and deep rest, we’ll support the body in shaking off winter’s weight and preparing for the season ahead.

A Retreat to Honour the Turning of the Season

This retreat is part of The Sauna Series. A seasonal journey through movement, stillness, and the elements. Our Spring gathering is inspired by the turning of the earth, the stirring of seeds underground, and the promise of renewal after a long rest.

Throughout the day you’ll be guided through a blend of practices that mirror the transition from winter to spring:


• The deep stillness of meditation and yoga nidra
• The invigorating contrast of sauna and cold immersion
• The steadiness of movement and breath
• The quiet healing of time in the forest
• Nourishment through thoughtfully prepared, seasonal food

All of this is offered within a supportive and spacious container. A gentle rhythm designed to awaken, not overwhelm.

You don’t need to be experienced in yoga or sauna. Just come as you are, and allow the land, the practices, and the season to meet you where you are.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This retreat is open to all—no experience of yoga, sauna, or cold water immersion is needed. What matters most is your willingness to be present, to slow down, and to meet yourself and the season with gentleness.

What to bring:

– Swimwear and a towel for sauna + ice bathing

– Comfortable clothing for movement and walking

– Warm layers and waterproofs—we'll be outside whatever the weather

– A water bottle and anything else that helps you feel at ease in nature

All practices are guided and fully supported. This is a space for nourishment, not performance. You're invited to come as you are.

Meals will be plant-based, seasonal, and locally prepared, and we’re happy to accommodate dietary requirements—just let us know when booking.
