Take a step back from the busyness of life and immerse yourself in a nourishing day of relaxation, healing, and self-discovery at our Autumn Beach Retreat Day. Held on the stunning Jurassic Coastline of Dorset, this retreat offers you the perfect opportunity to refresh your body, rejuvenate your spirit, and reconnect with nature.

As we transition into the golden hues of autumn, this day-long retreat will help you embrace the shifting season by restoring your energy and balance. Hosted in the serene and picturesque village of Studland, nestled right on the edge of the beach, our retreat invites you to slow down, reflect, and engage your senses. The tranquil setting of Studland Bay will be our sanctuary, where the sea breeze, soothing sounds of the waves, and the natural beauty of the surrounding area create an ideal atmosphere for relaxation and inner exploration.

Our day will begin with a mindfulness meditation to ground and centre ourselves, followed by an opening circle where we will set intentions and share reflections. This mindful introduction will allow you to become fully present, setting the tone for a day of deep replenishment.

We will then transition into a grounding Vinyasa yoga flow, where mindful movement and breathwork will synchronise to help release tension, improve focus, and relax the body and mind. This dynamic yoga session will not only energise your body but also bring clarity and calm, preparing you to fully embrace the rest of the day.

After the morning session, we’ll gather to enjoy a nourishing lunch, featuring delicious homemade seasonal dishes and fresh, healthy salads, all crafted to nourish your body from the inside out. To satisfy your sweet tooth, we will also offer some indulgent yet wholesome treats. During this time, you’ll have the freedom to unwind and explore- take a peaceful stroll along the beach, engage in conversation with fellow retreat-goers, or simply relax in solitude. Whether you prefer quiet reflection or connection, this pause in the day is your opportunity to recharge and experience the retreat at your own pace.

As the afternoon unfolds, we’ll ease into a deeply soothing Restorative Yoga session, designed to encourage relaxation and promote healing on a cellular level. To deepen this experience, please bring along your favourite cushions, pillows, or blankets—anything that will help you settle into complete comfort. This will be followed by Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, a profoundly restorative practice that allows your body and mind to rest, renew, and revitalise. By tapping into your body’s innate ability to heal through deep rest, you’ll leave feeling renewed and refreshed.

The final part of our retreat will take place on the serene sands of Knoll Beach, where we’ll indulge in the ancient practice of contrast therapy—alternating between the invigorating cold of the ocean and the warmth of the rustic beach saunas provided by @studlandsaunahut. This dynamic practice of alternating hot and cold temperatures has been shown to boost circulation, detoxify the body, and enhance mental clarity. As you experience the rejuvenating effects of both the cold sea and the sauna’s heat, you’ll feel the stresses of daily life melt away, leaving you with a deep sense of renewal.

We will close our day with a final gathering on the beach, coming together in reflection and gratitude. A closing meditation will guide us to acknowledge the shifts within ourselves, express appreciation for the journey we’ve shared, and cultivate a sense of calm and contentment before saying our goodbyes.
